TRENCH HEATING
We manufacture a wide range of trench heaters to suit heat output requirements.

The trench casing is manufactured from 1.2mm galvanised mild steel sheet, pre-coated matt black on the internal surface and grey on the external surface of the trench. The trench dimensions can be manufactured to practically any size required.

Levelling is by way of adjustable cupped feet (suitable for uneven surfaces). These are supplied on M10 studding that can adjust the height of the trench by 50mm to facilitate correct fitting. 12mm fixing holes are provided in the base to allow firm fixing after levelling.

Cross blade brackets within the trench include cut outs with grommets that position the finned heating elements and slots to position the baffle plate.

The grille is a standard pencil proof design which is manufactured from natural satin anodized extruded aluminium. These can be supplied in roll-up form in complete runs up to 25 metres or rigid in runs up to 3 metres. Rigid grille must be used when tables or chairs will be located nearby. The rigid grille is also recommended for heavier commercial applications. The standard grille retaining trench perimeter angle is also a natural satin anodised extruded aluminium.

Controls and/or valves can be accommodated within the design of the trench unit. We supply air vents with each finished unit for fitting on site. Any other valves and/or controls deemed necessary should be supplied and fitted by the installer.
